Contrology HQ is for anyone ready to commit to consistent, lifelong practice of Joseph Pilates’ original method.
New to Pilates? Beginners are welcome. The studio provides expert guidance to help you learn the method properly from the start.
Rehabilitation or recovery? While classical Pilates can support rehabilitation and improved movement, CHQ is designed for long-term, ongoing practice rather than short-term rehab programs.
Ideal students: Those who want to develop strength, precision, control, and mental focus over time, and take ownership of their own training.
No – we operate on an open studio format. This allows you to practice independently, at your own pace, while being supported by a highly experienced instructor.
We recommend at least twice per week for consistent progress. Regular attendance is essential to fully experience the benefits of classical Pilates. Training does not have to be done in hour periods. If you only have half an hour, 45 minutes or some days longer then come and train. What matters most is frequency and consistency.
We use Contrology and other Balanced Body apparatus and premium equipment to provide a safe, precise, and authentic classical Pilates experience.
Yes – virtual sessions are available from home. You’ll work directly with Victoria, with guidance on exercises and equipment setup. Cameras should be positioned to show side or angled views of your practice.

Begin your personalised program in open studio sessions or virtual training.
Bookings are required to secure your spot and guarantee equipment access.
If training across multiple timeslots, book into the one you expect to spend the most time in.
Virtual sessions are arranged directly with Victoria.
Membership is weekly, direct-debited, with unlimited access to open studio sessions.
Up to six weeks of suspension per year is allowed with prior notice.
Membership fees are not reduced for public holidays.
Memberships can be cancelled at any time. Please notify before the next billing date to avoid charges.
Open Studio sessions are self-directed, so missed sessions can’t be made up or refunded.
Regarding session cancellation, we understand life can get busy, however, to keep sessions running smoothly for everyone, a 12-hour cancellation policy applies to all bookings. Private appointments cancelled within 12 hours will incur the full fee, and repeated late cancellations for Open Studio may affect membership access.
